in this assignment, i get to know all the post & task that each member have to do in the production crew. by producing a movie, there are many man power and professional people are needed. teamwork is very important in a crew. we have to work together, overcome problem together, and communicate each others. sometimes argument may appear, but we still handle it well by share out our opinion and discuss it together.

The making of everything :D

oh at last, we had done with our given task and now ready to show the class wat we had done in this subject.

Basically what I learn so far from this assignment called "The making process" is how amazing it could be that we can actually made a movie trailer without really shooting it. Look at the industry, people spent so much time, money and efford to produce a great movie and from parts of the movie, they created the trailer for quick preview of what the movie is about. BUT!!! We manage to create the trailer without the actual movie. At first it sounds crazy, how could we possible create the trailer without the actualy movie, not to mention doing the whole making progress book. But when we really get started and focus on this assignment, we found that actually it is quite fun.

We first do the planning on what kind of movie shall we do, and how are we gonna execute it. We used up whatever resources we have, whatever skill we learned, to deliver the final trailer to public. And one more thing I learn so far is how fun it could be to make a 2D picture become an animation, it's just like making the cartoon. And I have to admit I really did learn a lot by doing this assignment. Not only the trailer making, but also how we manage to finish the whole assignment in a group, each of us play an important role to finish the work task well.

The only disappointment so far we encounter is due to time constrain, we are unable to film the interview of directors and the actors. The whole thing will be great if we manage to do it in time =)

I learn many from the making process, after this assignment, i roughly know how actually a production crew to process a movie. Behind the scene, I learn some video editing technique from the leader, Ong Jian How. He used Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe Aftereffect to generate the trailer and making process on screen, and I understood the how was the editing part working. I worked more for the making process book. I designed the alignment and the layout in neat, creative and simple way. I also learn how to choose the typefaces that appropriate for reading and print out documents. We already choose Nyala and DaunPen as the title and body typeface, it's suitable for the movie theme and also readable. For the contents part, spacing is very important because it may lead the readers' eyes to read from one important point to another point. I also learned the coloring techniques in Adobe Photoshop which are how to use different types of brush to apply suitable textures and colors on the figures, backgrounds and foregrounds.

Limitation: Not enough time to develop the book, need more time for the coloring part and also limited time to learn the ways of using editing software.
